Women’s Excellence Now Offers Bladder Instillation Therapy for Interstitial Cystitis at All Locations in Oakland County, Michigan
Date:7/16/2014

Oakland County, MI (PRWEB) July 16, 2014

Women’s Excellence has been treating Interstitial Cystitis (IC), a painful chronic inflammatory condition of the bladder, since 2008. Over the years, certified nurse practitioner, Debbie Henry, has researched and developed the successful multi-modal Women’s Excellence IC program that exists today. Under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, MD, FACOG, Henry and others have successfully treated hundreds of patients suffering with this debilitating condition at Women’s Excellence in Bladder Control located in Lake Orion, Michigan.

Women’s Excellence has expanded its Oakland Country footprint over the years, expanding northwest into Clarkston and southwest into Birmingham. “It became clear that as Women’s Excellence was expanding, we had to expand our program into the other locations to better serve our patients”, according to Zaidan. In addition to Henry at the Lake Orion Women’s Excellence in Bladder Control center, nurse practitioners Heather Martin and Erin Simmerman offer treatment for IC in Clarkston and Tina Rush, a certified midwife, joins Simmerman in Birmingham to provide treatment for patients in that location.

In addition to the care the Women’s Excellence nurse practitioners provide, Dr. Zaidan has office hours at all locations and has available appointments for bladder consultations as well. In-office bladder testing is available at most locations for patient convenience as well. “Our goal is to accurately diagnose and effectively treat each patient’s bladder condition in the most discreet and convenient way possible and I think we are achieving that.”

Founded by Dr. Jonathan Zaidan, MD, FACOG, Women’s Excellence is the most comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic office in Michigan also specializing in menopause, weight control, bladder control, endometriosis, robotic surgery, pelvic floor physical therapy, and midwifery services.
