Women's Excellence In OB/GYN Now Offering Natural Family Planning (NFP) via NaPro TECHNOLOGY in Lake Orion, Michigan
Date:4/24/2013

Lake Orion, MI (PRWEB) April 24, 2013

Natural family planning (NFP) offers couples a non-hormonal option in birth control. Every female menstrual cycle provides useful data about each individual woman's fertility. Natural family planning charts are used to map out the menstrual cycle, but in particular, the fertility cycle's patterns of mucus, bleeding, and vaginal discharge. Couples can effectively use NFP for achieving or avoiding pregnancy once they are in tune with times of both fertility and infertility. Natural family planning is safe, effective, and seems to have a beneficial effect on relationships.

To further implement and support NFP, Women's Excellence in OB/GYN is pleased to offer patients Natural Procreative TECHNOLOGY, or "NaPro". NaPro is new women's health science that allows physicians to track and interpret natural family planning charts, specifically those created using the CREIGHTON MODEL FertilityCare System. Dr. Nickole Bazger, OB/GYN at Women's Excellence in OB/GYN, is a natural family planning medical consultant and one of ten fellowship-trained NaPro surgeons. Dr. Bazger stated, "Supporting patients who use natural family planning allows me to share in respecting God's creation, human dignity, and family integrity."

Along with an emphasis on education, lifestyle choices, and prevention, Dr. Bazger welcomes the information provided by NFP charts and appreciates how cycle patterns represent underlying hormonal balance and reproductive health status. She concluded, "Understanding natural family planning is a perfectly compatible extension of a holistic foundation and a cooperative approach to healthcare that encourages the optimal function of natural, healthy processes".
