Winner Medical Solely Sponsored the 2009 China Medical Textile Industry Forum

SHENZHEN, China, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Winner Medical Group Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WMDG; "Winner Medical", or the "Company"), a leading exporter of medical dressing and medical disposables in China, announced today that it successfully solely sponsored the "2009 China Medical Textile Industry Forum -- Innovation and Development" from September 16 to 18 in Wuhan, China.

The organizer of the forum was the China Nonwoven & Industrial Textile Association, and Winner Medical was the sole sponsor. The forum was the leading medical textile industrial conference in China focusing on the innovative development of new materials, new production techniques, equipment, and new products to lead the future development of the medical textile industry in China. Mr. Duan Lunyi, lieutenant governor of Hubei Province, gave his remarks during the opening of the 2009 forum; other parties attending the forum included representatives from industry associations, government authorities, university and research institutes, hospitals and leading manufacturers in the industry.

Keynote speakers included Zhu Minru, the Chairman of the China Nonwoven & Industrial Textile Association; Cao Xuejun, head of the textile department at the PRC State Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Li Yi, professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and Chen Zhifen, doctor of Zhonghan Hospital of Wuhan University. The following topics were discussed during the forum: Chinese government policy on the textile industry, industry standards and the sustainable development of China's medical textile industry.
