SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Wine.com announced today a voluntary recall of six (6) gift baskets as a precautionary step. These gift baskets contain peanuts supplied by Torn Ranch of Novato, CA which may contain peanuts from Peanut Corporation of America (PCA). PCA has announced the expansion of a voluntary recall covering all peanut products made in their Blakely, Georgia plant since Jan. 1, 2007, because they have potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, a serious and sometimes fatal bacterial infection.

Torn Ranch has indicated that they are not aware of any reported cases of illness related to these products. Wine.com has not received any reports of illness connected to the products listed above. The company is undertaking this voluntary recall to proceed with utmost caution.
