Chichester, UK, January 15, 2008 - Wiley-Blackwell, the scientific, technical, medical and scholarly publishing business of John Wiley & Sons, Inc (NYSE: JWa), (NYSE: JWb) today announced that The Cochrane Collaboration, the not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving healthcare decision-making globally, renewed their partnership to publish The Cochrane Library.

The Cochrane Library is a comprehensive resource at the cutting-edge of evidence-based medicine, which helps practitioners and patients worldwide understand treatment options, said Sue Corbett, Managing Director, Medicine, Wiley-Blackwell. We are proud to publish The Cochrane Library and look forward to working with the Cochrane Collaboration to further expand the reach of the Library worldwide.

Since Wiley first published The Cochrane Library in 2003 we have been delighted to see knowledge of evidence-based medicine spread all over the world, as more and more people take advantage of what is, for half the worlds population, vital information available freely accessible in one-click , said Nick Royle, CEO, The Cochrane Collaboration.
