Why Are Millionaires the "Dream Man" for Most Women?

“It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.” A story filled with husband-hunting women started when Jane Austin wrote her novel, "Pride and Prejudice" with this opening sentence. Although 200 years have past, women’s infatuation of marrying wealthy men never changed. Today, for most women, millionaires are still their dream man for marriage. We may wonder why most women prefer to marry millionaires, but can estimate wealth may not be the only factor.

When we think of millionaires, words such as “rich”, “affluent”, and ”wealthy” may come to mind. No doubt, millionaires are rich and have a lot of money. They give an easy and comfortable life style for their mates. If marrying a millionaire, you certainly do not need to worry about paying various bills. They can do whatever they want and have a freedom many dream of.. That's maybe one reason for marrying a millionaire. But marriage is not a typical deal. It's not, “I marry you, you provide a luxurious lifestyle”. In modern life, women are more independent, maintaining their lifestyle on their own.
