Westlake Village Cosmetic Dentist, Philip Shindler DDS, Now Uses Veneers to Improve Smiles
Date:9/20/2013

Westlake Village, CA (PRWEB) September 20, 2013

Dr. Philip Shindler, Westlake Village dentist, now offers porcelain veneers to his patients to improve their smiles. Veneers can mask a number of cosmetic dental problems, both minor and severe.

Dental veneers are thin shells that cover the fronts of the teeth. Dr. Shindler, Westlake Village dentist, uses veneers for a number of cosmetic dental problems. He uses veneers to cover badly stained teeth, worn teeth, chipped teeth, cracked teeth, unusually small teeth, irregularly shaped teeth, and teeth that are poorly spaced.

The process for placing porcelain veneers typically spans two office visits. First, Dr. Shindler removes a small amount of dental enamel from the fronts of the teeth. Then, he makes a cast of the teeth. This cast is sent to a dental laboratory that custom makes the veneers specifically to fit the patient's teeth. When the veneers arrive at Dr. Shindler's office, he checks them to make sure that they fit and trims them to size, if necessary. Then, he applies them to the fronts of the patient's teeth with a special dental bond. When the bond hardens, the patient will be able to enjoy their brand new smile.

Dr. Shindler, Westlake Village dentist, also provides a variety of other cosmetic and general dental services at his office. He restores dental implants, places dental crowns and bridges, fits patients with Invisalign aligners, performs in-office teeth whitening procedures, fits patients with dentures, performs exams and
