West Coast Bank Sponsors Reach the Beach Cycling Fundraiser to Support the American Lung Association

May 17, 2008, race offers five routes for cyclists of all abilities

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore., May 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- West Coast Bank (Nasdaq: WCBO) is a main sponsor of the 18th Annual Reach the Beach bike ride on May 17, 2008, the official start of the Oregon cycling season. Five different route options from Portland, Salem, Corvallis, Amity and Grand Ronde ensure that the American Lung Association fundraiser is perfect for all cyclists. Each participant raises support for the organization.

West Coast Bank VP-Relationship Manager Jan Jensen is also the president of the American Lung Association of Oregon and is recruiting company team members to host the Portland starting point and the Cape Kiwanda finish line in Pacific City.
