Previously, Ms. Hoke worked for three years as Managing Editor for Custom Publishing Group in Cleveland. Her responsibilities included serving as project manager on three frequency publications, including Charleston (WV) city magazine, The Leading Edge and special sections of Crain's Cleveland Business. She also edited COSE Update magazine for two years. At Avenues Publishing, LLC, Ms. Hoke was Assistant Editor for five years.
Prior to that, Ms. Hoke was a general assignment reporter for Sun Newspapers from 1990 to 1995. She covered news and people in the communities of Cleveland Heights and Shaker Heights as well as several state offices, including governor, attorney general and state representatives. She began her career in journalism reporting for the Rocky Fork Enterprise in Gahanna, Ohio.
