Wellspring Hires William Young and Prepares for Nationwide Expansion

LOS ANGELES, May 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Fueled by aggressive goals to expand nationwide, Wellspring recently hired William Young as its Vice President of Network Development. Bill will spearhead the newly formed Network Development Division that will serve as a platform for national expansion starting in 2010. He is responsible for making Wellspring a household name in the world of autism treatment. Bill is a former Fortune 100 senior executive with healthcare, insurance and leading technology experience.

Bill brings over 20 years senior management experience with P&L responsibility in the insurance and healthcare industry. He has served as SVP-Marketing of PacifiCare Health Systems and the Group Executive in charge of insurance, dental, wellness and health benefits administration subsidiaries; VP/ General Manager of Lincoln National, President of Emtrust Insurance Company and President of MetLife Healthcare Network (Southeast). He helped build one of the largest online insurance brokers in the US and developed revenue for one of the newest claims management technology companies acquired by McKesson. He received his BSFS at Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service and his MBA at Columbia University.

Along with the recent hire of Bill Young, Wellspring has made changes in its management team. Kimberly Wilber, former Director of Human Resources, will now report to Bill Young and be solely focused on network development as it relates to autism treatment. Kim is well respected for her many business accomplishments, including growing Wellspring from 2 to 80 employees.

To replace Kim's role, Christy House was promoted to Director of Human Resources. In her role as Recruiter, Christy single handedly hired over 100 staff Behavior Specialists to help with the growing demand for autism treatment. In her new position, Christy is responsible for planning, developing, and directing the staff of all human resource functions.
