Omni Bedford Springs Resort is 'Perfect Prescription' for Women's Wellness Weekend

BEDFORD, Pa., Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Starting off the new year armed with knowledge while being pampered is the formula for the Women's Wellness Weekend at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa. In partnership with Magee-Womens Hospital at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), the resort is holding its annual three-day event with a focus on women's health, fitness and stress reduction. Doctors, health professionals and fitness experts will offer practical tools for living a balanced life. A diverse educational program -- including topics such as osteoporosis, weight training, joint and bone health, menopause and stress -- is interspersed with spa treatments, meals and fitness classes.

The Women's Wellness Weekend is Friday, January 23rd through Sunday, January 25th. Two-night stay package rates start at $695 per room (single occupancy) and $570 per person (double occupancy). Package includes accommodations, educational sessions, specially-prepared meals, a $75 spa credit and a spa amenity. Additional spa services are available by appointment.
