JOHNSON CITY, N.Y., March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovation, makers of PharmASSIST pharmacy automation solutions, today announced that WellDyneRx, a national pharmacy benefit management company, has successfully implemented a PharmASSIST High Volume prescription dispensing system at their newly unveiled pharmacy mail service facility in Lakeland, Florida. WellDyneRx opened the 66,000 square foot facility on March 5th and expects to create approximately 100 new jobs in 2009. The company is also forecasting the creation of 678 jobs through the end of 2010.

"We are very excited that our continued business growth is allowing us to expand into the Florida market," says Damien Lamendola, president and CEO, WellDyneRx. "During this period of tough economic times, it is especially rewarding to be involved in a business that is creating new employment opportunities. Our business is healthy and strong, and we are excited to find the best employees in the Lakeland area to join our team."

WellDyneRx has operated a pharmacy mail service facility in Colorado for over two decades. The facility implemented Innovation's PharmASSIST High Volume prescription dispensing technology in 2006. The company's strong growth and rising prescription volumes required an additional facility to handle capacity demands. The opening of a second facility in Florida enables WellDyneRx to geographically balance their operations and provide secure back-up facilities for their growing customer base.
