WeissComm Partners Names Tom Jones Managing Director to Deepen Global Product Communications Offering

NEW YORK and SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- WeissComm Partners, the largest independent communications agency focused on the healthcare industry, today announced the appointment of Tom Jones as managing director. Jones joins WeissComm from Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation where he was executive director of communications, overseeing the creation, development and implementation of public relations programs for the company's growth driver brands. Prior to that, he was vice president and group manager at Ketchum where he contributed greatly to the growth of the healthcare practice.

For more than 15 years, Jones has developed and executed award-winning public relations and corporate communications initiatives, built and managed high-performance teams, and provided measurable business results for leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, including AstraZeneca, Aventis, Genentech, Merck, Novartis and Pfizer.
