WeightNot Rebrands as HIIP, Highlighting Breakthrough Weight Loss Approach
Date:10/2/2017

Leading weight loss program provider WeightNot announced today the rebrand of the company as HIIP. The updated HIIP program leverages the “sprint and recover” concept that is at the core of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in fitness, and applies a similar methodology to weight loss. HIIP – which stands for High Intensity Interval Protocol – guides members through cycles of fat burning and weight stabilization, which increases the rate of weight loss while also better enabling weight maintenance.

Founded in 2010 by Paul Amoruso, HIIP offers programs that incorporate the latest science and research in weight loss, physiology and behavior to enable members to achieve the fastest possible healthy results -- with an average weight loss of .63 pounds per day. The introduction of the High Intensity Interval Protocol is the latest in the evolution of the program, in keeping with company efforts to lead the industry in the application of evidence-based, cutting edge methodologies to improve efficacy.

“We do extensive analysis on the results of our members throughout their programs, and strive to continually engineer our protocols to improve outcomes and member experience,” states HIIP CEO Paul Amoruso. “In our own direct observations with thousands of clients, and in corroborating third party clinical research, we identified the potential benefits of cycling levels of calorie restriction. In addition to accelerating results, the HIIP approach allows us to use stabilization periods for training members to better maintain their weight for the long term – which of course is the ultimate objective of our program.”

HIIP programs are all natural, incorporating only real food, with no meal replacements, packaged meals or snack bars. The company provides its members with structured dietary regimens and recipes, targeted supplementation or therapeutic nutrition, one-on-one coaching, support via phone, video, text and email, activity guides, online community, online education, and digital tracking tools including an app and online dashboard.

As of August 2017, HIIP has served over 25,000 members who have lost in excess of 1 million pounds, and has a following of over 750,000 people on Facebook.

About HIIP: HIIP is a nutrition and weight loss company based in Bethesda, MD, and was founded in 2010. Since its commencement, HIIP has served tens of thousands of members with a satisfaction rate of over 90%. HIIP helps members reverse chronic patterns of weight gain, enabling them to put an end to weight cycling.
