Wayne County Medical Society Foundation To Host Holiday Party For Underprivileged Children Saturday

DETROIT, Dec. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- More than 200 underprivileged children in Detroit will receive new winter jackets as well as gifts of books and games at the 23rd annual Holiday Party presented by the Wayne County Medical Society Foundation from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, at The New Detroit Science Center at 5020 John R at the intersection of Warren and John R.

Physicians, medical students, physician spouses and staff of the Wayne County Medical Society of Southeast Michigan will host the event.

    Schedule:

    10:30 Registration
    11:00 IMAX viewing of the children's classic, "Santa Versus the Snowman"
    11:45-12:30 Tour Science Center exhibits
    12:45-1:30 Lunch at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American
    History
    1:30-2:00 Santa greets the children, gift bags distributed
