Watermeadow Medical Wins Medical Education Consultancy of the Year Award

OXFORD, England, July 13 /PRNewswire/ -- International medical communications company, Watermeadow Medical was named Medical Education Consultancy of the Year at the Communique Awards in London on Thursday night. This highly contested award is judged by an independent panel of communications experts, who assess excellence and innovation in the delivery of medical education for healthcare clients, along with business strategy, client retention, client satisfaction, financial performance, and staff development.

The award follows Watermeadow's most successful year. "In 2008, we added several companies to our client list and increased our revenue by more than 50%. All this without losing any staff, which we are exceptionally proud of", said Dr Nicola Duckworth, Director Client Services. "We are thrilled to have won this award and delighted that our achievements have been recognised: this is further reassurance for our clients that they are working with the best people in the business."

Watermeadow Medical is a specialist communications agency delivering the full range of medical communications for the healthcare industry, including publication support and planning, meetings, advocacy development and medical education. Founded in 1997 by Managing Director, Dr Paul Hilditch, Watermeadow is designed to unite and build on best practice to create an agency that is smart, adaptable and responsive. This is achieved through a strategy of direct communication - using in-house medical writers and empowering all staff to manage and respond to client needs. Watermeadow now has 49 employees across three offices (Headquarters in Oxford [UK], additional offices in Manchester [UK] and New York [USA]).
