Water Enabled Technologies of Utah Signs MOU with Clemson University, South Carolina, for Water Desalination

Water Enabled Technologies, LLC, Salt Lake City, Utah and Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Water Enabled Technologies has announced a new process for desalination and with Clemson University will develop existing and future products in the field of water desalination.This totally new technology provides fresh water at a fraction of the energy currently required by RO or Evaboration type processes.

(PRWEB) May 21, 2010 -- Water Enabled Technologies, LLC (WET), Salt Lake City, Utah and Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaborative is designed to match the resources and capabilities of Water Enabled Technologies and Clemson University in a joint research effort to develop existing and future products in the field of water desalination.

Water Enabled Technologies has announced a new process for desalination. Until the discovery of this new desalination process, there were only two processes used world wide for desalinating salt water into fresh potable drinking water. This new game changing technology, Modular Desalination Unit (MDU), will mean affordable water for the masses. This totally new technology provides fresh water at a fraction of the cost of existing technologies, which means a fraction of the energy currently required, and will provide at a fraction of the current costs for the capital outlay required for infrastructure.

Dr. Jim Kaiser, Chief Scientist for WET, said, “This agreement with Clemson is historic for all concerned, for between our company and this internationally recognized University, we are giving birth to a technology that will have an effect on all of mankind.”
