(PRWEB) May 21, 2010 -- Water Enabled Technologies, LLC (WET), Salt Lake City, Utah and Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). This collaborative is designed to match the resources and capabilities of Water Enabled Technologies and Clemson University in a joint research effort to develop existing and future products in the field of water desalination.

Dr. Jim Kaiser, Chief Scientist for WET, said, “This agreement with Clemson is historic for all concerned, for between our company and this internationally recognized University, we are giving birth to a technology that will have an effect on all of mankind.”

Dr. Tom Scott, Interim Dean of the College of Agriculture, Forestry & Life Sciences and Interim Associate Vice-President for Public Service & Agriculture will be the Research Program Director for Clemson University. Responsibility for Water Enabled Technologies relationship within Clemson University shall reside with Dr. John Kelly, VP Public Service & Agriculture and Economic Development and Dr. Tom Scott.
