Wanted: Oklahoma City Licensed Pharmacy Technicians
Date:7/24/2009

OKLAHOMA CITY, July 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- While U.S. unemployment rose to 9.5% in June, Adecco USA continues to see job opportunities for qualified professionals in the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. Despite the fact that Oklahoma's unemployment rate is over 6%, Adecco USA currently has demand for 100 pharmacy technicians in the Oklahoma City market for great positions they need talent for today.

Over the past year the healthcare industry has continued to grow despite job losses in most sectors, adding 364,000 jobs nationally over the past 12 months alone. With the Baby Boomer generation aging and requiring a wide range of healthcare and medical services now and in the future, the Bureau of Labor Statistics forecasts that the industry will grow 16% by 2016. The demand is particularly strong within pharmaceuticals as the demand for medicines as well as new products being introduced to the market is expected to increase in coming years.

"The demand for healthcare professionals, particularly licensed pharmaceutical technicians, in the area is very hot right now," says Roxy Herman, regional vice president for Adecco in Oklahoma. "The healthcare industry continues to grow despite contraction in the rest of the economy. Individuals who have the right mix of experience in the pharmaceuticals industry combined with great customer service skills are in very high demand and should take the opportunity to apply for these jobs now."

To apply for these positions, please call Adecco's employment hotline at 405-635-1411 or send your resume and cover letter directly to teresa.colwell@adeccona.com.
