Dr. Michael Ciencewicki, Dr. Ujjwal Datta and Feel Good Foods will be on the September 22nd edition of WOR's HealthNavigator, a health and wellness radio show on WOR710 sponsored by Raritan Bay Medical Center. Hosted by Abe Kasbo, the hour-long show airs every Sunday at 10PM.
Dr. Michael Ciencewicki, the Senior Vice President of Medical affairs at Raritan Bay Medical Center, will be discussing intensivist groups, a new subspecialty in critical care medicine. Dr. Ciencewicki will explain the advantages of hospitals having intensivist groups for both patients and doctors, including increased quality of care and better outcomes.
Dr. Ujjwal Datta, a podiatrist with the Human Motion Institute at Raritan Bay Medical Center, will be explaining the effect that diabetes has on the feet and the importance of regular exams even if there are no symptoms that a patient may be aware of. He will also discuss some common foot issues that affect children and signs and symptoms that parents should be aware of.
Try Silverson and Vanessa Phillips, owners of Feel Good Foods, create all natural, great tasting gluten-free frozen foods. Silverson who is a chef and Phillips, a celiac patient, will explain how and why they started their company and will offer tips for eating gluten-free.
