WHNN's Bob Hughes Fitted With Hearing Aids by Mobile Care Hearing Clinic Now Serving Saginaw Area

SAGINAW, Mich., Oct. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WHNN radio personality Bob Hughes, a well-known voice in the Saginaw area, affirms the special attention given by Mobile Care Hearing which is moving to Saginaw this month.

"My hearing became damaged by several years of listening to Rock 'n' Roll music and the quality of my life has changed significantly since being fitted with a pair of high-tech hearing devices at Mobile Care Hearing," says Hughes. "I am really enjoying my new ears."

Mobile Care Hearing is located in the Rohr Eye and Laser Center, 2578 N. McLeod in Saginaw, and offers testing and fitting by certified audiologists. Besides Saginaw, Mobile Care Hearing has five additional locations in Michigan to serve the hearing impaired including: Bay City, Davison, Flushing, Fenton and Grand Blanc.

Being left out of the conversation is what prompted Hughes to explore solving his hearing loss. Hughes had been exposed to loud music since before starting his first rock and roll band in the 9th grade; that combined with using headphones as a DJ contributed to his hearing loss.

Hughes, who has been a fixture on mid-Michigan radio for the past 22 years, said it was time to get control back. "In the studio I could always turn up the volume on the headphones or studio speakers, but in real life situations that option did not exist for me until I got my new ears. Now I have the control that I've been accustomed to in the studio; with this latest digital technology I am now in control both on and off the air."

While visiting a Mobile Care Hearing clinic for a hearing exam clients can also review the latest in hearing technology from Siemens, including remote control hearing aids which can be controlled by a device in the user's pocket, hearing aids with rechargeable batteries, and mini-size light-weight aesthetic aids that are practically invisible.
