VitalFitSR, The First Preventative Skin Care System for Individuals with Limb Loss and At-Risk Skin, Launches
Date:10/30/2019

VitalFitSR, the first skin care system formulated by Paul B. Dean, M.D. in collaboration with other dermatologists and clinicians to address the skin issues faced by individuals with limb loss and high-risk skin issues, launched this month at the Challenged Athlete Foundation (CAF) Annual Community Weekend event in San Diego, CA.

“We have had an overwhelmingly positive reaction from those in the limb-loss community as a result of this skin-care system,” said Paul B. Dean, M.D., founder of VitalFitSR. “We recognized a need for a clinical system to address the challenges that these individuals face every day. It is unfortunate that those with limb loss have obstacles to living an active, healthy life, and I’m pleased to play a role in helping them overcome barriers related to skin care issues.”

Skin conditions are a leading cause of the inability to comfortably wear prosthetic devices, orthotics or diabetic shoe products. The VitalFitSR system contains a unique blend of ingredients that reduces the potential for inflammation, perspiration, odor, fungal infection, dermatitis, and bacteria. The system also works in conjunction to prevent irritation and dry, chapped skin.

VitalFitSR launched in conjunction with being an official sponsor of the Challenged Athletes Foundation in San Diego. The input from participants solidified VitalFit’s mission to enhance lives and their dedication to the support and education of individuals as well as the clinicians that serve them.

Paul B. Dean, M.D. has been practicing dermatology in San Diego for more than 35 years, and is the founder of a hypo-allergenic, ultra-sensitive line of skincare products called Skin Resource.MD available online and in medical offices.
