Vital Images Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Vital Images, Inc. (Nasdaq: VTAL), a leading provider of advanced visualization and analysis solutions, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its pioneering work in developing advanced visualization and analysis software. Vital Images was established in September 1988 in Fairfield, Iowa and has continually advanced the field of advanced visualization through 20 years of bringing innovative solutions to the market.

The company was founded in 1988. Since that time, the company has installed more than 5,000 systems worldwide. Also during those 20 years, ViTAL played a key role in developing a market for advanced visualization, exponentially grown revenues, publicly traded on NASDAQ, and established its geographic presence in Asia and Europe.
