Non-surgical rhinoplasty or nose shaping has quickly become the signature procedure performed by Masha Banar, Board Certified Physician Associate and Medical Director of Visage Sculpture. She started offering it few years ago and since then her technique has significantly evolved. Procedure became quicker, less painful, with minimal risks and down time. She is the go-to person to get a better shaped more proportional nose without surgery as she has done a significant number of the procedures to date (ABC News segment on non-surgical nose job).

Masha always cared about the safety of procedures she offers as much as the results. "You can never be too careful. It’s important to continue learning and stay on top of latest advancements to improve quality and safety of work," says Banar PA-C. She teams up with her former anatomy teacher at Tufts Medical School to review the intricate details of face anatomy in the cadaver lab from time to time. She also follows conferences and continues medical education monthly and stays on top of major medical publications for latest news and innovations in her industry.

“Complications after non-surgical rhinoplasty” was the most popular controversial topic at the latest International Multispecialty Symposium in Las Vegas in June 2013 (Vegas Cosmetic Surgery 2013). The worst possible risk is thrombosing a blood vessel by injecting non-dissolvable filler in it which leads to tissue necrosis. Although an extremely rare complication, it has been documented even by the most experienced Surgeons.
