Victory Medical Center Beaumont, a new state-of-the-art facility located at the corner of Dowlen Road and Metropolitan Dr. in Beaumont, Texas, celebrated its 1000th surgery yesterday after only opening in May 2013.

The 1000th surgery was a gynecological procedure performed by Dr. Kelly Rising. Victory Medical Center Beaumont is a partnership between Victory Healthcare and some of Beaumont’s most highly trained and talented surgeons.

“This milestone signifies all that Victory Medical Center Beaumont has been able to provide the residents of Beaumont in such a short period of time,” said long-time Beaumont resident and CEO of Victory Medical Center Beaumont Becky Ames. “After opening this past May, we have hit the ground running to provide world-class care close to home to the residents of Beaumont.

The 85,000 square foot facility opened on May 14, 2013 and is comprised of the 56,000 square feet of hospital space and 29,000 square feet of medical office space. The facility opened with 17 private, inpatient suites, five oversized operating rooms and three special procedure rooms.

As in other Victory Healthcare facilities, patients at Victory Medical Center Beaumont enjoy personalized care with a one-to-one nurse to patient ratio in one of the private patient suites, all of which offer Wi-Fi Internet connectivity, flat screen televisions, and oversized floor plans to comfortably accommodate family and friends.
