Vickie Milazzo Institute Makes Inc.'s List of Top 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America

HOUSTON, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second year in a row Inc. recognized Vickie Milazzo Institute on its list of Inc. Top 5000 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America. The Inc. 5000, an extension of Inc. magazine's annual Inc. 500 list, highlights businesses that are too big to grow at the pace required to make the Inc. 500. According to Inc., "Taken as a whole, these companies represent the entrepreneurial engine driving the U.S. economy."

In addition to the Inc. Top 5000 recognition, the Institute is also one of Inc.'s Top 50 fastest-growing private companies in the education industry. Based on total revenue, the Institute ranked No. 13 among the Inc. Top 50 education companies.

Inc. Top 10 Entrepreneur Vickie L. Milazzo, RN, MSN, JD was profiled by The New York Times as pioneering the profession of legal nurse consulting. Vickie started her company out of her one-bedroom condo in 1982 with less than $100 in her bank account and is expected to gross more than $16,000,000 this year.

Milazzo says, "I strongly believe that entrepreneurship is the best way to become rich and happy." She goes on to say, "While money doesn't get me out of bed in the morning, I confess once I'm awake it's sure nice to have it.
