Cole's Personal Experience Gives Unique Insight in Industry

SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Donna Cole, a complex rehab specialist with 15 years of experience, has joined Alliance Seating & Mobility (ASM), one of the nation's fastest growing accredited complex rehab companies. Cole is an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) in Sacramento, Calif., for ASM (www.alliance-seating.com) and provides power mobility solutions for pediatrics and adults with severe physical disabilities related to paralysis, Cerebral Palsy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy and other conditions.

"There is nothing more satisfying than the smile on a child's face the first time she wheels across the room by herself," said Cole. "I take pleasure helping customers and their families with mobility needs and really enjoy becoming part of their lives."

Cole has been a RESNA-certified ATP for more than 10 years and a member of the rehab industry for more than 30. She began in customer service and moved into billing and inside sales. Previously, she worked in ALD/AIDS for Daily Living Inc. in Rocklin, Calif., and ATG/Wheelchair Center in Sacramento. In addition, Cole is the caregiver of her husband who has Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

"Donna's care of her husband gives her a special insight into the challenges and changes in the daily lives of our customers," said Scott Higley, ASM's Vice President of Business Development. "Our team is growing stronger every day, ensuring that we provide the best products and services possible to our complex rehab patients across the nation."

Established in November 2007, ASM has grown from three locations to almost 25 in the past year. ASM is responsible for sales and service of rehabilitation equipment and commercially available assistive technology products/devices for consumers with disabilities.
