Veteran Health Reporter Named Supervising Producer of Health Corner Television Series
Date:3/3/2009

MILWAUKEE, March 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Julie Feldman, former reporter of 20 years at WITI-TV in Milwaukee, has joined the staff of Marx Creative, Milwaukee. Feldman spent the last 15 years reporting exclusively on health. She will serve as supervising producer of the Health Corner Television Series, a Walgreens-sponsored health program which airs on Sunday mornings on Lifetime Network.

"It's a pleasure and privilege to bring families valuable information about how they can lead healthier lives," Feldman says. "I'm very happy to join the Marx team and reach viewers across the country with such a positive message." Feldman will provide creative oversight and direction for the show's 26 annual episodes, and will also serve as producer and contributor for some of the show's medical segments.

Health Corner focuses on health issues important to women. The show is hosted by Joan Lunden, who co-anchored ABC's Good Morning America for nearly two decades.

Recent interviewees include Sally Field about osteoporosis and bone health, "You Doc" Dr. Michael Roizen on weight loss, and ABC anchor Bob Woodruff and wife Lee on overcoming traumatic brain injury. Weekly features include "What's Cookin' with ChefMD(R)?" a popular cooking segment which illustrates how food can work like medicine in your body.

Health Corner also includes real people's touching health stories, medical breakthroughs from coast to coast, "Kids' Corner," about your child's mind, body and spirit, and "That Certain Something," focusing on health, style and beauty.
