INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Vertellus Specialties Inc., a leading specialty chemicals company, today announced a price increase of 15-20% effective January 1, 2009 for 2-vinylpyridine monomer sales to all non-contract customers. The price increase is necessary to continue the company's investment in production capacity and to provide better supply chain logistics to its global customers.
