Date:6/11/2013

Novi, MI (PRWEB) June 11, 2013

USA Cares, SLFC’s cause, provides post-9/11 military families with financial and advocacy support. To date, they have responded to over 40,000 requests for assistance and given approximately $10,000,000 worth of grants. Veronica Murff - State Farm Insurance is helping to get the word out about this worthy cause by participating in the June event.

Not a stranger to giving back in the community, Veronica Murff - State Farm Insurance recently celebrated 21 years of doing business in Novi by hosting the Second Annual Influential Mom Essay Contest. In partnership with the Novi Public Library, the Murff agency awarded the first place winner with a $300 Visa card and a $100 Spa gift certificate was awarded to the 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Please visit the NALA’s Shop Local for a Cause to learn more or to find local businesses participating.
