Verilux Cleanwave Sanitizing Wands Proven To Eliminate H1N1 and MRSA on Surfaces

Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory Confirms H1N1 and MRSA Viruses are Eliminated on surfaces with CleanWave Sanitizing Wands. Designed to clean and sanitize various types of household surfaces, such as upholstered chairs and sofas, bed mattresses and pet areas, the new dual-action Verilux CleanWave UV-C Sanitizing Furniture & Bed Vac (VH07) eliminates up to 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, germs, mold, dust mite and flea eggs.

Waitsfield, VT (PRWEB) December 22, 2009 -- Independent testing at a nationally recognized antimicrobial testing laboratory confirms Verilux CleanWave Sanitizing Wands effectively eliminate H1N1 and MRSA viruses on surfaces. During testing, MRSA and H1N1 culture organisms were exposed to the CleanWave sanitizing light for 1 second at a distance of 22mm (0.86 inches) and showed a 99.9% reduction in MRSA and a 98.7% reduction of the H1N1 virus. The H1N1 culture organism showed an additional reduction of 99.9% after a 5 second exposure.

Verilux, an innovator in healthy lighting products since 1956, has been in development on the CleanWave sanitizing system since 2006.
