Veracord and Parasoft Partner to Improve Compliance and Reduce Cost
Date:5/26/2009

validation and continuous quality assurance in highly regulated environments," states David Park Schutz, Veracord CEO. "This partnership also strengthens the Veracord and Parasoft commitment to supply improved regulatory compliance while putting into action the risk-based approach to universally address an organization's entire processes in order to leverage its investment across the board." Veracord continues to seek carefully chosen partners that supply unparalleled, cost-effective solutions, ensuring compliance, improved efficiencies, and better utilization of resources to increase employee productivity.

Parasoft shares in its ability to offer more to companies. Where Parasoft delivers automated proven methods for enabling software quality, it now adds Veracord's consulting capabilities in the validation and compliance arena. "Software is not only becoming more of a strategic business differentiator in the life sciences industry, but also it is becoming the primary intermediary between the patient (or user) and the company," states Wayne Ariola, VP of Strategy for Parasoft. "Both good will and ill will about the quality of the medical device or user experience is primarily derived via the interaction with software. This makes the optimization of the software development lifecycle a critical path for innovation and patient/customer satisfaction."

Beginning June, Veracord and Parasoft will announce co-marketing efforts to reach client companies wordwide. Also planned in coming months, targeted communications will more clearly define benefits leveraged in the new alliance.

Parasoft and Veracord will present a strategy and demonstrate a LIVE system that leverages automation to achieve FDA compliance for software validation--at costs that are far reduced from those of manual processes.
