Ventas Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend of $0.475 Per Share

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Nov. 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ventas, Inc. (NYSE: VTR) ("Ventas" or the "Company") said today that its Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.475 per share, payable in cash on December 28, 2007, to stockholders of record on December 7, 2007. The dividend is the fourth quarterly installment of the Company's $1.90 per share 2007 annual dividend.

This fourth quarterly installment of the Company's 2007 annual dividend will be included in stockholders' 2007 taxable income for income tax purposes. More specific information about Ventas's dividends paid in 2007 can be found on its website at http://www.ventasreit.com/investors/dividend.asp.
