Successful migrations to its hosting platform, new client acquisitions

NEW YORK, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- A series of successful initiatives has driven Velocity Technology Solutions, Inc. to become one of the top providers of enterprise software application management, hosting and consulting services to the U.S. healthcare industry.

Velocity now serves more than 60 U.S. healthcare organizations. The company's investment in several strategic activities has fueled Velocity's dramatic growth and positioned Velocity as a market-leading provider. Velocity has:

-- Acquired the Lawson-hosted (ASP) line of business from Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services Division;

-- Engaged in a significant recruitment program to draft industry-leading healthcare IT talent to the Velocity's team;

-- Partnered with Verizon and IBM to build-out a new, massively scalable infrastructure and network to host its current and future healthcare clients;
