Date:7/15/2013

Prescott, AZ (PRWEB) July 16, 2013

Robin Fleck, M.D., founder and medical director of Vein Specialties and Southwest Skin & Cancer Institute, has selected Medicus Billing & Consulting of Poteau, Oklahoma for outsourcing its medical insurance billing work. Medicus was tapped because of its twenty-seven year track record of on-time, hassle-free payments and its expertise and relationships with insurance companies. Cyndi Walker, CEO of Medicus, has served as a D.C. lobbyist and expert author for Medical Economics. She comments, “I have an abiding commitment to the medical profession and enjoy solving its financial challenges and tackling the ever-changing government regulations for the benefit of my clients.”

Vein Specialties specializes in the treatment of venous insufficiency including varicose veins and spider veins. In-house diagnostic ultrasound and full service treatments including endovenous laser ablation, VNUS and spider vein sclerotherapy are offered in a state-of-the –art vein treatment center which opened in 2007. Dr. Fleck and Dr. Catherine Ohsiek are contracted with Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Medicare and Aetna, among other insurers.

Medical insurance billing for our patients is critical for maintenance of cash flow, and the increasing complexity of this task has made it essential to employ expert assistance for maximal reimbursement. Denials and delays in reimbursement by insurers is commonplace in today’s market and a savvy biller can navigate the formidable rules and regulations insurance companies have adopted.

Southwest Skin & Cancer Institute is devoted to providing the highest caliber dermatology care, including diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers and other skin disorders, as well as Botox and laser procedures to revitalize prematurely aged skin for age spots, wrinkle treatments, facial spider veins and eyelid skin laxity. In business over a decade, Southwest Skin & Cancer Institute’s revenues are about fifty percent insurance-derived, so its cash flow is heavily dependent on competency in handling claims to insurance companies.

Since signing on with Medicus Billing, both Vein Specialties and Southwest Skin & Cancer Institute have seen an average of three-week settlements of submitted claims. “This is a great improvement over our previous claims submission record, and this rapid reimbursement will allow my companies to add needed personnel and undertake exciting new projects,” notes Dr. Fleck. “I am delighted with Medicus Billing’s results so far and the sunny portent for my businesses.”

Cosmetic dermatologist, Robin Fleck, M.D., is a double board certified dermatologist and internist, recognized by the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is founder and Medical Director of Vein Specialties and Southwest Skin and Cancer Institute http://www.rejuvadoc.com. Dr. Fleck is a fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and the American Venous Forum. She is also the director of Body Oasis Laser Aesthetics Medical Spa in Prescott, Arizona and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
