Vancouver Fertility Acupuncture Clinic Announces New Fellows of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine

Acubalance Wellness Clinic, the first acupuncture clinic in Western Canada to exclusively focus on reproductive health, now has the highest concentration of American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine-accredited reproductive acupuncturists of any clinic in the world.

Vancouver, Canada (PRWEB) July 8, 2009 -- Acubalance Wellness Centre (http://www.acubalance.ca) is pleased to announce that two more of their Doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Erin Flynn, R.TCM.P, R.Ac, and Trevor Erikson, R.TCM.P, R.Ac, have successfully passed their speciality exams and are now Fellows of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM http://www.aborm.org). This accreditation signifies that a TCM practitioner has demonstrated knowledge and experience in the field of Chinese reproductive medicine.

Acupuncture has increasingly been in the media spotlight as a growing number of medical studies indicate that acupuncture treatment may improve a woman's chance of getting pregnant with in vitro fertilization (IVF) by up to 65%. Until recently, however, the public has had no reliable way of identifying TCM practitioners who have specialized training in fertility care.
