VR Mergers and Acquisitions Completes Transaction of Laurinburg's Community Drug

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Charlotte's VR Mergers and Acquisitions has just completed the transaction of Community Drugs, Inc. a long-time fixture in Laurinburg, NC. VR Charlotte links business owners across North Carolina to qualified buyers. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Established in 1965, Community Drugs pharmacist and owner, Charles Todd, has worked there since it opened. Todd, the owner since 1975, has built up Community Drugs in the Laurinburg area over the last 42 years through personalized service and a well-respected reputation. He comments "to give someone new an opportunity to succeed with an established business appears exciting."

Brad Offerdahl, founder of Charlotte's VR Mergers and Acquisitions, represented the seller, Charles Todd, throughout the transaction. Offerdahl says, "Charles has built as fine a drug store business as our firm has represented. We sold it to a wonderful husband and wife team, Elizabeth and Terry Taylor, who will definitely be able to carry on the outstanding service and client care that Charles has provided for all these years."
