VNUS Medical Technologies to Report Second-Quarter 2008 Results and Webcast Teleconference on July 29

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 14 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VNUS(R) Medical Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: VNUS), a leading provider of medical devices for the minimally invasive treatment of peripheral vascular disease, announced today that it plans to report its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2008, after the close of market on July 29.

VNUS plans to host its regular quarterly teleconference at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET on July 29. This call will be webcast live for all investors and archived on the company's website at http://www.vnus.com.
