• Ronald J. Skalski has been named vice president of business development, medical device-healthcare. Skalski's primary area of responsibility will be to expand the company's medical device client base. Skalski has worked in the medical device industry for more than two decades. Prior to joining VELOCITY, Skalski was area vice president of Biomet Orthopedics, Inc., a worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of products for the orthopedic, sports medicine, biologic, craniomaxillofacial and dental markets. He is an award-winning manager who has been instrumental in driving revenue growth to record levels for several large orthopedic and sports medicine companies. Skalski earned his Bachelor of Science in business/finance from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in Indiana, PA.

• Rosemary Mendel has been named vice president of business development, sponsorship programs. Mendel's primary area of responsibility will be to develop sponsor-based opportunities for higher education and academic medical institutions, and participation in private entertainment programs for VELOCITY's First Spin.
