Using Your Story and Not Technique to Achieve Sales Success

“Unlike most Sales Training Programs, the Sales Success Summer Series will focus on developing your own unique gifts, talents and abilities as opposed to giving you more canned techniques and clichéd sales verbiage, “says Ja Marr Brown. It is based on his book, "What's Your Sales Story?" which chronicles Brown’s transformation from nearly getting fired for poor sales performance to becoming Sales Person of The Year, winning every sales contest offered and taking a last placed sales team to #1 in the country and winning Sales Manager of The Year. Ja Marr says that, “throughout all of those experiences, I realized that sales success is not about a specific number of habits or tips, it's about uncovering your individual story and understanding what is either hurting or helping your sales efforts.” That realization served as the inspiration for Ja Marr to develop the Sales Success Summer Series.

Ja Marr states that the Sales Success Summer Series will break the mold of traditional sales training programs in that you won't be subjected to a bunch of theories about how to be successful at sales...rather you will receive real world examples and training on how to reach your potential as a sales professional from someone that has actually been successful. He calls this approach Reality based selling vs. theory based selling.

The Sales Success Summer Series is broken down into four one hour programs, beginning with the free program overview StudioCast Webinar, Thursday, July 24 at 11:00am PST. The programs will be broadcast live in a Studio with HD cameras where the participants can see the slides as well as Ja Marr. In addition, the participants will be able to ask “real time” questions via e-mail, text or an instant message sent to the StudioCast facility. The other programs in the series include: Sales Success Summer Series Intro program; What’s Your Sales Story?, July 31st at 11:00am PST; Selling In Color, August 7th, at 11:00am PST; and The Kaizen Way of Sales Excellence, August 14th at 11:00am PST.    

Ja Marr believes that once someone understands their own sales story, they will be able to unlock their true potential as a sales professional. Ja Marr concludes with, “by the time you are finished with the Sales Success Summer Series, you will have the ability to write your own book on how you transitioned from your current sales results to reaching the pinnacle of your own personal sales success.
