Some of the findings of the 350-page report include:
-- Medical Services: Benchmarked companies spend an average of $126 per
employee for medical services administration.
-- New Hire Performance: Many participating companies found that most new
hires are rated as average performers or above average during their
first 90-180 days on the job. Almost all participants found only 25
percent performing below average during the first 90-180 days.
-- Domestic Relocation Cost: Benchmarked companies spend an average
administrative cost of $829 for a domestic relocation or assignment.
Data was collected from surveys and interviews with HR professionals at
