This equipment is shipped to their massive 130,000 square foot facility, located in Carson, California. Once there, the equipment is reconditioned and worked on until it is in perfecting working order and like new again.
Through their expert staff, these pieces of gym equipment are kept out of the landfills and are able to be used again by other facilities. The process involves the equipment frames being carefully custom powder-coated with a fresh paint job. Each part of the equipment is intensely inspected for damage and worn parts are replaced with new parts. Each of the electrical components, such as motors and display panels, are restored to like-new condition.
Once each of these gym machines has been reassembled, they look brand new and function like they just came out of the original factory. The best part of all of this is that UGE then sells the equipment to gyms and other health facilities at a fraction of the cost of new equipment.
