Urgent Care Association of America Launches Program to Educate Congress on Urgent Care

WARRENVILLE, Ill., Aug. 5 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Urgent Care Association of America (www.ucaoa.org) is reaching out to key members of Congress to offer assistance in the ongoing health care reform initiatives.

Recognizing that high quality, easy-access, reasonable-cost care is a critical part of any patient-centered health care system, UCAOA wants to make sure that all members of Congress involved in health reform are aware that over 8,000 urgent care centers across the nation are already providing that care.

Letters of introduction and an industry information kit were sent to key decision makers in Congress, as well as other leaders in the health care industry last week. This kit is also available to the public at http://www.ucaoa.org/home_abouturgentcare.php.
