Upstate New York Physician Recruiters Receive Awards from New Doctors Across New York Program

Members of the Upstate New York Physician Recruiters that received DANY funding include: Adirondack Medical Center in Lake Placid; Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake; Alice Hyde Medical Center in Chateaugay; Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone; Aurelia Osborn Fox Medical Center in Oneonta; Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira; Bassett Hospital of Schoharie County in Cobleskill; Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg; Canton-Potsdam Hospital in Potsdam; Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Clinton; Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh; Little Falls Hospital in Little Falls; Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown; Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in Niagara Falls; O'Connor Hospital in Delhi; Olean General Hospital in Olean; Rochester General Hospital in Rochester; and Rome Memorial Hospital in Rome; and Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.

Applicants were reviewed based on population needs and the community's circumstances, such as the length of time the position had been vacant, long waiting times for appointments, or high use of rooms for routine care.
