University HealthSystem Consortium Selects Mzinga for On-Demand Learning Services

OAK BROOK, Ill., May 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) today announced that it has negotiated a 3-year agreement with Mzinga, Inc. for on-demand learning solutions. The agreement, which has 2 optional 1-year renewal periods and became effective on March 1, 2009, positions Mzinga as the provider of learning technologies and services to UHC member hospitals throughout the United States, building on Mzinga's existing deployments in several UHC member hospitals as well as hospitals across the country.

Mzinga is the leading provider of social software solutions that drive business growth, innovation, and learning. The Mzinga Social Learning Suite ushers in a new era of collaborative blended learning by combining a broad range of formal and social learning technologies that enable organizations to develop talent, connect and share knowledge with and among their learner population, easily develop and deliver learning courses and events, share resources and expertise, and manage essential compliance and certification requirements.
