United Way of the Wine Country Gets a Virtual Makeover
Date:8/10/2013

Santa Rosa, CA (PRWEB) August 10, 2013

For years, United Way of the Wine Country has worked tirelessly to help build communities residents can be proud of. Now, they’d like a website to be proud of, as well. Their current website is functional, but dated. The organization’s budget typically goes back into the community, rather than their own digital properties. However, all of that’s about to change.

Zenergy Works, a Santa Rosa web design and Internet marketing company, has provided a solution for United Way of the Wine Country that is both budget-friendly and forward-thinking. The plan includes a complete redesign of the website for better functionality, easier navigation, and organization of information for all five of the counties United Way covers. It’ll also feature a custom design that will capture the essence of what United Way represents, making it more appealing to those wine country residents who are looking for ways to make a bigger impact in their community.

“Our goal with the website redesign is to showcase the goals, results and hard work United Way of the Wine Country, in collaboration with others, does each day to improve lives locally,” said United Way of the Wine Country President and CEO Mike Kallhoff.

Tom Nelson, Director of Sales for Zenergy Works, stated, “We relish the challenge provided by the wealth of information available for each region covered by this chapter of United Way, and are excited to bring that information to the fingertips of users for easy access. It’s an exciting project for our team.”

The relaunch of the website will provide a great deal of momentum for improving the organization’s visibility and ensuring current and potential supporters can find exactly what they need. Volunteer opportunities, donations, and breakdowns of where funds are being distributed will only be a click away. This update is a key stepping stone on a greater path toward helping locals reinvest in their wine country neighborhoods through United Way.

United Way of the Wine Country works to advance the common good along in Sonoma, Mendocino, Lake, Del Norte and Humboldt Counties. They mobilize the caring power of their communities to address underlying problems, improve lives and build a healthy vibrant community by focusing on issues surrounding education, income and health.
