United Benefit Advisors Welcomes New Partner, Group Benefit Specialists

Wichita, KS (PRWEB) September 05, 2013

Group Benefit Specialists, Inc. (GBS) has joined United Benefit Advisors (UBA), the nation’s leading independent employee benefit advisory organization, as a new Partner Firm.

Founded in 2003, the Wichita, Kan. firm specializes in benefits consulting, human resources, compliance, employee health and wellness and executive benefits. Also offering life, dental and medical individual insurance lines, GBS’ staff of 12 brings approximately 250 years’ worth of insurance experience to the organization.

President Mark Isley’s 28 years in the industry are part of that impressive total, and Isley is thrilled to join the UBA team.

“In this business, there are limited resources available that create opportunities for people to get the tools needed to serve clients in the way they deserve,” he said. “UBA fills a great training and networking niche for our staff and advisors. We also see a huge value for our clients to better manage their health plan costs by participating in the UBA Health Plan Survey. Couple those benefits with the current, complex nature of health care reform, and we as well as our clients stand to benefit tremendously from a UBA Partnership.”

UBA CEO Thom Mangan, excited to bring GBS aboard, said:

“We’re very happy to add Group Benefit Specialists to the UBA fold,” he said. “It is the largest private benefits insurance agency in its market, and boasts a great reputation. Helping clients balance a bottom line while still serving employee needs is GBS’ strength, and that meshes well with our idea of the ideal UBA Partner Firm.”
