Date:10/23/2008

n to traditional studies, 43 Veterinary Student Scholars are conducting short-term health study projects at universities worldwide. The MAF-supported program is designed to help fill a critical need for training the next generation of veterinary scientists. Veterinary Student Scholars are given the opportunity to work with a mentor on research projects early in their careers, allowing them to consider a career in veterinary research. These projects are also available for sponsorship in 2009 and are listed on the MAF Web site.

To discuss the details of any study or for more information on study sponsorship, contact David Riggs at driggs@MorrisAnimalFoundation.org, or call 800.243.2345.
