Unified Group Services Participates in Indiana Health Information Exchange's Innovative Quality Reporting and Healthcare Disease Management Service

ef Institute, Inc. and is Regenstrief Professor of Medical Informatics at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He has also been recently appointed to the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services Health Information Technology Standards Committee.

With almost 50,000 Indiana members, Unified Group Services provides health, dental, vision, short-term disability and COBRA benefit administration to self-funded companies.

As an example of the QHF program in action in the Indianapolis community, the health information exchange platform has found that 30% of area diabetics aren't receiving timely A1c tests and 35% of women aren't having timely mammograms. This data has implications at the individual and community level while also impacting public health and educational initiatives across the state.
