Physicians graduating from medical schools are expected to set up practice, run it, and expand it without the tools and training to do it. They are business disabled from the start. Doctors are taught neither marketing strategies and their value, nor how to run a small business successfully by the time they graduate.

The continuing drop in private medical practice income across the United States, documented by an AMA study, has created dramatic changes in healthcare quality and availability. Physicians are retiring much earlier than they planned. Some change specialties. Others are forced to implement procedures into their practices which are distasteful and necessary to stem the deleterious effects of medical fee restrictions on all healthcare providers.

Only well established physicians can afford to pay commercial marketing firms to do it for them. The newly established doctor has to sweat it out at the start while at the same time trying to pay off an educational debt often over $100,000. And if the physician is in a surgical, OB-Gyn, or other high risk specialty, that doctor faces malpractice insurance premiums of $100,000 or more annually.

It's our contention and committment physicians can double their practice income in a year or less if they are taught effective marketing strategies and tactics. Without marketing, physicians will not reach the top income they deserve. Dr. Graham teaches them to learn how to work less and earn more. However, the initial problem is that physicians don't know what they don't know concerning marketing their practice.

An experienced physician, who is an expert at marketing as well, gives a "physician mind-set" to the process. Commercial marketers don't have that attribute. The Internet has changed the marketing world--once hard, now easy.
