UltimateGolfAdvantage.com Announce Interview with Pro Golf Coach Lee Crombleholme on the Importance of the Mental Game and Henrik Stenson’s World Tour Championship Win
Date:12/3/2013

Manchester, United Kingdom (PRWEB) December 03, 2013

UK’s leading golf mind coach, Lee Crombleholme, reveals to UltimateGolfAdvantage.com’s Alex Davidson the importance of the mental game of golf, as Henrik Stenson overcomes his mental slump to win the PGA Tour Championship followed by the World Tour Championship, European money title in Dubai. More information about Lee Crombleholme’s professional mental training programs can be found at the Ultimate Golf Advantage website: http://www.UltimateGolfAdvantage.com/wgm/.

Many golfers, both amateur and professional, struggle with mental “slumps” in which negative self-talk and confidence issues on the course have a detrimental effect on their game. According to the Center for Sport Psychology in Philadelphia, Golfers can remember significantly more about their past performances than other athletes, which helps to explain how negative on-course experiences can have a ripple effect on their games.

In an exclusive interview with Ultimate Golf Advantage (UGA), professional golf psychologist and leading Golf Mind Coach, Lee Crombleholme, commented: “The mental side of the game is often underestimated by amateur golfers, who prefer to spend their time practicing their technique. But, they are actually missing a key element in their game-play arsenal.”

“Working on improving the mental game is something that professional players like Henrik Stenson accept as an indispensable part of their training regime,” he added.

Stenson understands all-too-well the value that his mental coach, Torsten Hansson adds to his game. Discussing Henrik Stenson’s recent victory in the European Tour's 2013 Race to Dubai, where he finished at 25 under, Coach Lee Crombleholme commented:

“This is a player who has been able to fight his way out of a mental slump and overcome significant dips in his on-course performances to become the first person to take the FedEx Cup in the PGA Tour Championship and take the DP World Tour Championship title in the same year.”

Concluding the interview, Mr. Crombleholme expressed his hopes that Henrick Stenson’s recent victories will inspire more amateur golfers to focus on improving their mental games.

In order to make such training accessible to the amateur golfer, Lee Crombleholme has partnered with the team at Ultimate Golf Advantage to offer training videos that include coaching on how to shut out distractions using mental programming techniques. These training videos are now available at the UGA Website: http://www.UltimateGolfAdvantage.com/wgm/.

UGA representative, Alex Davidson, commented: “We are thrilled to be working with a professional of Lee’s caliber to call the amateur golfer’s attention to the importance of practicing the ‘game between the ears’, which is arguably the toughest aspect of our sport to master.”

Mr. Davidson continued: “Lee’s training videos offer free insight into the kind of training that has typically been reserved for his private clients, including tour-winning pros, and the advice is instantly applicable on the course.”

Lee Crombleholme’s training is available for download at the Ultimate Golf Advantage Website: http://www.UltimateGolfAdvantage.com/wgm/.
